A story about cheripop
I really love this photo. we took it at the photo booth in the Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv. The reason it turned out so funny is becuase the machine took our photo while we didn’t expect it to :)

Cheripop came and met me while I was staying with Barak in Israel. Then she took me to the United States with her and showed me around Chicago. She’s very nice and even took me ice skating. She was a very cordial host.
Cause she’s got the heppest Gilmore Girls tour on the eastern seabord (okay, the only one), and she’s making me a periwinkle bulletproof vest with my name in sparklies so I can go on said tour. And she looks so dern cute in her red hat. Oh, and she has the same strange, age-inappropriate interest in A Prairie Home Companion. Oh, and… well, that’s enough for now… :)
Because she is sweetest, most sincere, kind person I know and she has eyes and a smile to die for. I melted right away ;)
Even after he slipped and fell by the mineral pool at Hamat Gader (and cracked his legs off… ouch) he just kept right on going. “Quit” just isn’t in the little guy’s vocabulary. He’s an inspiration to us all.
Cheryl’s coming to visit Barak while he’s hosting me. I can’t wait to meet her because Barak has some great travel plans for us around Israel.
Plus she’s met lazlozian and he’s a cool guy.
I don’t want to ruin the mystique, but he’s not a stiff 19th century man (as his avatar would lead you to believe). He’s a fabulous guy – just as awesome as he claims I am. I had a lovely lunch with Laz (woops, almost wrote his real name) this afternoon. He’s a very open, honest, funny, interesting fella. I could’ve talked with him all day – and maybe kidnapped him with my car… if I had one (inside joke). I understand his urge to be mysterioso now. I still think it’s slightly paranoid, but I understand. ;)
She’s obviously quite exquisite. Meeting in person will only confirm what others might suppose as mere ‘theory’ or ‘hunch.’
And she commented on my blog! She was the singular persona to say anything about my heavy personal Dad story, and even commented on an entry from last year. Appreciation abounds for such a high level of participation.
She’s local. But only for another moment. I have to move fast to get in some coffee/tea time, before she’s off to the other end of everything.
Hopefully I can convince her to eventually return to grace our portion of the universe.
